So that last one was supposed to be a little video of the cuteness I experience every time I feed Beau. Sometimes technology eludes me. Boo. I will figure it out. Very adorable B Dog pics and video coming soon. I am simply justifying my long absence from the blog by showing you what I have been doing: training a perfect, angelic puppy. He does two playgroups (one with me, one that involves the leader picking him up during the day while I am at work) each week, and in two weeks he will begin a class that is half obedience, half agility training. Mostly, I am just hoping it wears him out so that he stops finding pieces of paper to shred or stuffed animals to un-stuff while I am at work. Everyday it's a surprise: "Look, Mommy, I decorated your room for you!! It's confetti! I made it myself!!!! Don't you love it, Mommy?!" And that damn smiley doggy face makes it pretty much impossible to get really upset about it, so I just pick up the confetti/toy stuffing and ruffle his little head.
Between the B dog and church, life is pretty much chaos. I am still working with the youth, and the congregational care team, and my ministry candidacy, and the young adult monthly discussion groups (yes, plural), and on, and on, and on. Oh, and let's not forget that I am teaching a class at the School of Mission again this year, so I am preparing for that. And the UCC's Synod, to which I was nominated (sha-what? I barely even know what it is!); that's in July in Tampa (which will be like a sauna). So, lots of interesting happenings on the horizon.
